CGGC student Courtney Dunny shows off some new back-to-school fashion

As the new school year begins, students are making fresh starts on not only the school scene but the fashion front as well.

This fall season brings fun floral prints, comfy tees, and neon brights leaving in the dust summer's floor length dresses and gladiator style sandals.

MCC student Chanel Brewick loves the V-neck tees that have become a staple of fall fashion.

"I love being able to just throw on a T-shirt and go," she said, "No fuss, and I still feel cute."

T-shirts are available almost anywhere from American Apparel to Forever 21.

Urban Outfitters is also famous for its printed tees splattered with clever sayings and political messages.

"I love American Apparel T-shirts! I want one in every color," Brewick said.

"They're so easy to accessorize and you can dress them up for a night out too."

Mitch Dunn, an MCC sophomore, is also loving the T-shirt fad.

"I like that everyone's wearing T-shirts, because now I don't feel like the most underdressed person in the room," he said.

Brewick thinks that hippie-inspired accessories are also a must have for back-to-school fashion.

"I'm obsessed with peace signs right now," she said. "I'm also really into the nature thing with hemp necklaces and beaded bracelets."

Whether its '60s inspired jewelry or fun tees, this falls back-to-school fashion is all about tossing aside the long dresses and leggings and moving on to more comfortable and casual clothes.
