The Phoenix Art Museum is ready to impress visitors again, and this time it is with the unique exhibition, "Masterpiece Replayed".

Over 50 pieces of early French modern artwork are being presented to the public including world famous artists like Monet, Matisse, David, Delacroix, Ingres, Cezanne and Degas.

The uniqueness of this collection is hidden in its name.

"Masterpiece Replayed" was assembled to show the artist's imaginative process by the repetition of creating their own pieces over and over again.

Some of the artwork on display has anywhere from two to more than fifteen different variations.

The exhibition shows the creative process of artists as well as style comparisons displayed in different versions of the same scene.

The artwork for this show was borrowed from museums and galleries all over the world, including Musée du Louvre in Paris, the National Gallery in London, and the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg.

Arizonians are very lucky to have a chance to visit this unique exhibition.

The Phoenix Art Museum is one of only two museums in the world to host this event.

"Masterpiece Replayed" was also presented at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, where it was originally organized in association with the Phoenix Art Museum.

The collection will be in town until May 4.
Tickets are priced at $20, which include general admission into the rest of the Phoenix Art Museum.
