Everywhere we turn, there are people openly complaining about their money problems and the slump in the economy. It is impossible to go a day without hearing about rising gas prices or homes going into foreclosure. The current economy is affecting everyone, but don't let it interrupt your goals.
Welcome to the 2008-09 academic year at one of the leading community colleges in the nation. It has been five months since taking on the responsibilities of president at Mesa Community College, and I have been impressed with the high level of commitment our faculty and staff have to our mission of excellence in teaching and learning.
