"I've always wanted to dance on the Miss America stage, and it's crazy to think that in six months I'm going to have that opportunity," said Erin Nurss, a UA graduate student who recently won the title of Miss Arizona 2008.

On Friday, anti-war protesters from the Year Five Coalition met on campus to march a $200 reimbursement to the Student Activities Center.
The payment was for campus property damage that occurred during a spring break protest.
Over spring break, protesters left red handprints on UNM signs, sidewalks and streets near the Public Policy building on Sigma Chi Road.

Chaffey's military helicopter is missing in action. Back in the mid-1990s, the National Guard unit in Rancho Cucamonga had four helicopters to donate. What better timing than having an adjunct aeronautics instructor from the National Guard take one of the flyable "Huey" birds off the hands of the local military unit.
